Thank you for selecting Stonewood Stables for your child’s summer adventure.  We are proud of our summer program and look forward to your child’s participation.   On this site you will find a Camper’s Questionnaire, Waiver, and Emergency Contact Information form, which need to be completed and returned before your child’s first day at camp.  Also enclosed is the daily schedule for your information.  Listed below are items, which your child should bring with them to camp.  At check in, on Monday, you will receive a picture order packet from Bellavita Photography.  Their pictures are wonderful and have been a huge success for the past few years.

Camp shirts will be sold at the start of camp.  Polo shirts for $25 and T-shirts for $20.  Your child will need to have a riding helmet (Pony Club or S.E.I. approved).  You can purchase your helmet from any reputable tack store.  (Please make sure they are Pony Club or S.E.I. approved).

ALL CAMPERS NEED:

                                                Helmet (Equestrian Riding Helmet Pony Club or S.E.I. approved)

                                                Shoes – riding boots, or sneakers, or hiking boots

                                                Long pants – either riding britches or jeans or cotton sweat pants

                                                Long socks – sport socks

                                                Sun block

                                                Insect repellent

                                                Change of clothes – shirt, shorts

                                                Change for coke machines/snacks

                                                                Soft Drinks – .50   Snack Machine - .50  Bottled Water - .75

OVERNIGHT CAMPERS NEED IN ADDITION:

                                                Sleeping bag, pillow

                                                Trunk or foot locker

                                                Clothes for week including extra riding pants, jeans, shorts,

                                                                Shirts, socks, underwear, etc.

                                                Change of shoes

                                                Flash light

                                                Wash cloths and toiletries

Please put child’s name on each item.  Any one bringing a cell phone will need to keep it with their baggage and not on person.  Any overnight campers with cell phones will need to leave them turned off and downstairs on the kitchen table at night.  We encourage each child to call home every evening and will supply phones for this purpose.

Overnight Campers are encouraged to check in early.  The cost of checking in on Sunday afternoon (after 4:00) and staying Sunday night is $50.  Campers checking in on Friday evening or Saturday morning and participating in riding activities throughout the weekend will need to pay the weekend camp fee of $200.  Campers checking in on Saturday afternoon (after 4:00) will need to pay an additional $100.  This is a great way for the child to settle in and get a head start on riding before regular classes start on Monday morning.  Overnight Campers who are attending consecutive weeks are welcome to stay through the weekend.  Additional cost is $200.  Our weekend schedule varies, however, includes trail rides, English and Western lessons plus  swimming, etc.
